Average sales prices adjust downward

by Southern Californias Top Producing Mother & Son Te

So you're probably thinking, "What's with this $25,000 decrease in home values?"  Even in a market that is trending upward, there are always going to be slight adjustments downward so don't think that this is a turning point for the market quite yet.  Historically there always seems to be some kind of adjustment downward at this time of the year.  Most people are settling in, the holidays are kicking in and typically in order to get a home sold before the end of the year, a seller might need to budge a little on the price to get it sold.

This however does not mean the real estate market is going down in the coming months.   Take a look at least year at this time.  October of 2013 had a solid spike in average sales prices, coming in at $472,235 in Downey and surrounding areas according to MLS reports, but a drop in the 3 consecutive months going all the way down to $444,087 in January.  We didn't see a spike in average sales prices until April of 2014 coming in at $486,616.  The market continued in an upward trend all the way up until now.

So if this drop in average sales prices has you worried, rest assured that this is just a normal adjustment based on the analysis of past trends.  With interest rates still in the low 4% range according to bankrate.com there's no need to worry that the home buying will slow down.  If you're thinking of selling your home you need to call us now!  There really is no better time to sell!  Ask for Maria, (877) 883-1003.

Long Beach - On the water Condo: House Warming!

by Southern Californias Top Producing Mother & Son Te

There's no better way to celebrate the purchase of a new home than with an awesome, fun house warming party.  One of our clients just bought a beautiful condo on the water in Long Beach from us on 1800 E. Ocean Blvd, Long Beach,  It was kind of a tough move for our clients because they weren't used to a condo/town home lifestyle because they had lived in a single family residence in Downey for over 40 years. We decided to throw them a house warming party inviting all the neighbors and it turned out to be such a blast.  All their neighbors came out and were delighted to meet their new neighbor.  Watch the video and get a little taste of the fun we had.

And of course if you're thinking of selling your home anywhere in Downey or surrounding areas please be sure to contact us ASAP.  Ask for Maria when you call ...  (877) 883-1003)
