Short Sales Still Exist - We can HELP with Relocation Assistance

by Chris Gonzales

Short sales are always a bitter sweet kind of a transaction.  When you look at Short Sales from one angle it’s tough to see that a family has to go through with the sale of their home because of some financial hardship in their family.  On the other hand, we as real estate professionals are able to help the family escape foreclosure and do our very best to help the family come out of this situation with hope at the end!  This particular short sale is one to remember for not only the buyer, but for the sellers as well…

It’s always our duty to negotiate the best terms for our seller when representing them in a short sale, and that not only means postponing foreclosure dates until we close, but also negotiating some type of assistance for the seller to move.  Let’s face it, if someone is in financial hardship and short selling their home, chances are they aren’t going to have any money to move into a new living situation.  So in this case we were able to negotiate $23,000 in relocation assistance to our seller.  No matter what the outcome we know it’s always a difficult situation to lose a home, but we do our very best to smooth out the process for those who are in hardship and it’s for that reason that we understand how important our job as real estate professionals really is…

So that’s half of the news.  Not only were we able to acquire $23,000 in relocation assistance to our seller, but we were able to negotiate over $10,000 in closing cost assistance for the buyer!  As mentioned above, these short sales are difficult for sellers but we don’t believe there could have been a better outcome in a difficult situation as this…

There are still many people out there who are suffering from financial hardship and may need to short sale their homes.  If you know of anyone please refer our services to them.  We know how to handle these types of transactions and you need strong negotiators who really know how to get you the assistance that you need on these types of sales…

The Bellflower Noon Lions Club is a nonprofit organization that was chartered in 1964. When they heard that the City of Bellflower was forced to cancel the annual car show due to budget constraints, they decided to step up and take over. The 2009 car show was the first car show the Noon Lions had ever hosted. With the City of Bellflower helping out with contacts, lists and things that needed to be done, the car show was a great success.
